Mamachi-Gordo

We are Mamachi and Gordo!!!

How about a pair of adult black Labs to keep you company, take on walks, hikes, camping? These two love to play ball, go for long walks, and enjoy humans. As a pair, they keep each other company when left at home alone. They are also great at alerting of any strangers that come around.

Mamachi is tender, good natured, friendly, and well behaved. Gordo passive, obedient, and loving. True to their breed, they are beautiful – just check out their photos! They are brother and sister and have been together since birth. So we would like to keep them together. Fortunately, they are past the puppy mischievous stage but as labs, they do like a bit of exercise. They really love humans and just want to be a part of the family. Even now, though, they are intelligent, learn quickly and are still trainable.

A home with some yard or a place where they can get regular walks, play some fetch and these dogs will be in heaven. Mamachi and Gordo were raised indoors and treated as a part of the family, but since their owner passed, they need a new home. Perhaps you could give them one!

Like many dogs, these two don’t like thunder, fireworks, and other loud noises, but other than that they are very adaptable and have a lot of security in each other.

Both were both on Feb 14, 2010 and weigh 37 kgs (81 lbs) (Mamachi) and 48 kg (105 lbs) (Gordo). Both are a little overweight, so plenty of exercise and adventures would be great for them.

If you can’t adopt them, maybe you can sponsor them while they are still in foster care. All funding goes towards helping the foster family feed and vaccinate these dogs. It also helps with any other vet care and transport costs when adopted. Thank you for reading their story and please share it with everyone you know who might be interested in making these two a part of their family.
