Meet Agatha!

Agatha is a calm, friendly and curious dog who is good with people and other dogs. She loves to play fetch and adores her squeaky toys! Agatha was rescued after she had been wandering a neighborhood for about 2 months. She was afraid to let anyone approach her and she had a big gash on her side that needed to be stitched. Eventually, she entered the garage of her rescuer, who closed it and kept giving her food and working with Agatha to trust humans more.

Agatha is attending agility training classes on Saturdays and which helps her immensely with trust of humans. She allows strangers to approach and pet her now – but she still doesn’t like to be grabbed or forced in any way. The agility classes are designed to help dogs gain more trust in humans and confidence in themselves. Agatha continues to improve every day.

Agatha is fostered with an 11 year child and with cats and other dogs.
