Baja Dogs La Paz, Inc. is a US charity operating in La Paz, BCS. We have no governmental authority to confiscate animals or sanction anyone for abuse or neglect. Our role is to help local communities with sterilization and other preventive care services as explained in About Us and Our Programs. This does not mean we do not care about animal abuse or neglect cases, but that we do not have any authority over them and so we refer you to those who do.

Remember that, in some cases, if you want dogs removed from an abusive or neglectful situation, there must be a place to put them so consider fostering. There are not enough places for all of the dogs that need help, unfortunately. So getting involved vs. simply reporting is definitely more beneficial.
